Drum roll, please! We’re thrilled to announce that our GM26 Rising winners are the superb tall child! Thanks to everyone who came down to Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach last night for a great night supporting emerging talent!
The London-based Nigerian/Indian musician Zha Gandhi was announced as the worthy winner by Huw Stephens! tall child will open the Mountain Stage this August, having been selected from a record-breaking amount incredibly talented entrants. They will also get a week’s studio time at PRAH Recordings, a recorded live session, plus the chance to release a physical vinyl with Dinked and showcase their music to industry experts.
A mighty llongyfs (congrats) to the rest of our finalists, Cyn Cwsg, Kiosk, The Slow Country & Glasshouse Red Spider Mite - who have all bagged a spot on the Rising Stage, along with a GM video session.
