Their improvisatory, off-kilter, doomy tracks are guided by first takes, resulting in something that feels immediate and unfiltered, with touchstones as varied as George Eliot, Sayaka Murata, and early internet imagery. Operating in a similar sonic realm as Horsegirl, bar italia, and Garbage, The Healing Power of Horses released their debut EP Summer Indoors (or outside wearing black) this summer.
