Self-described “folk-rock sorcerers” MSWOG — “moss” — have also been called Welsh wild wanderers and sonic pilgrims of seventies acid folk and mystical tradition: an ever-flowing collective who are less of a band, more a ceremony when they are called to perform on stage. The south Wales group combine traditional Welsh music and centuries of Welsh defiance, ritual, and resistance with psychedelia, distortion, and drone: ancient and modern, enchanting and visceral.
