The Hell Bus is a satirical pre-apocalyptic marketing suite about oil company greenwashing. Made by artist Darren Cullen aka Spelling Mistakes Cost Lives, who is perhaps best known for his Mini Daily Mail, Museum of Neoliberalism and his Pocket Money Loans payday loan shop for kids which featured at Banksy's Dismaland. The Hell Bus is an interactive exhibition of dioramas, video and fake fossil fuel adverts (and some real ones), and is installed inside an old school bus, focusing on Shell in particular, and satirising the absurd spectacle of oil and gas corporations trying to convince the public that they're going to save the world from oil and gas corporations. Cullen's anti-Shell work has previously been the subject of an unsuccessful cease and desist from Shell, but undeterred by this the Hell Bus is now in its fifth year of touring the UK, and joins Green Man this year for the first time.
