“Let’s buy a banjo and a violin and a flute and try to make crazy sounds” was pretty much the guiding principle on Lots Of Hands’ debut album into a pretty room, “made between pints of beer and rounds of Fortnite”. It’s resulted in a folky DIY sound also informed by ambient and electronica, that earned the Newcastle duo — Billy Woodhouse and Elliot Dryden — a place in the Green Man Rising final.
