Donna Thompson almost abandoned music-making, forced to give it up so she could pay her rent. Luckily for us she’s returned via the welcoming folds of Dalston jazz hub Total Refreshment Centre and PRAH Recordings. A born-and-bred Londoner who grew up on a diet of gospel, Motown, and lovers rock, she’s a jazz, R&B, and soul multi-instrumentalist, with a second EP incoming.
