Tesni is the solo project of Manchester-based Welsh singer-songwriter, Eve
Hancock. Through an introspective lens, Tesni crafts songs that intertwine stories of
longing and sexuality with themes of nature and self-assurance. Her rich melodic
and harmonic writing draws influence from folk-based artists such as Nick Drake,
Adrianne Lenker, Rufus Wainwright, and Judee Sill. Tesni recently released her latest single, Nothing’s New Again, a heartfelt exploration of vulnerability and openness. To celebrate the release, she headlined a show at Gullivers in Manchester, joined by her band: violinists Alana Howes and Marla Broadway, cellist Patrick Beare, and keyboard player Tomas Watkins.
