Danish duo Snuggle named themselves for “when we need protection from craziness”, and take refuge in wistful 90s alt-rock, shoegaze, and dream-pop. Part of the current Nordic stronghold in left-field pop, they’re all frayed cuffs and tousled hair, quiet builds and a Dido-style marriage of breathy vocals and trip-hop beats. The pair — Baby In Vain’s Andrea Thuesen and former Liss guitarist Vilhelm Strange — released their album Goodbyehouse last year.
