Project Lullaby is a contemporary circus performance inspired by Finnish Lullabies that have a strong shade of darkness in their lyrics. It is a performance about transformation through movement, balancing on slack rope, manipulation of objects and costume. Movement of the moment and the current nature will guide us to see something fragile and powerful, feminine and beautiful.
Vilhelmiina Sinervo is an innovative circus artist “with a special aesthetic sensibility”. She is Finnish and currently based in Cardiff. She is a balancer on slack rope and in life in general. Her strength is in connecting to the movement of the present moment. She has worked with companies like NoFit State Circus and Welsh National Opera. Her artistic vision is most visible in works of Vilus.art, Teatteri Telakka and Agit-Cirk.
