Mared brings a Welsh flavour to deep indie-folk and pop. Cardiff-based singer-songwriter, originally from rural North Wales has the capability to arrange her music for an explosive and intimate 7-piece band. Mared's music was awarded Welsh Album of
the Year in 2021 and has been described as 'a wonderfully intimate homage to the 'Laurel Canyon'.
This year Mared released a full-band live EP in May, funded by BBC Horizons Launchpad, alongside brand new music in autumn. The record later this year is a collaboration with London-based producer, Ed Allen (Alice Kim, Kindelan, Rosie Miles).
