Cards On The Table - Erin Hughes
Roaming performers transform into living card tables, inviting audiences into intimate, surprising encounters. Inspired by the shared language of magic and intricate tabletop design, each wearable surface becomes a miniature stage for sleight of hand, playful illusions, and visual delight. Drawing on faux-marble and pietra dura aesthetics, the work combines craft, performance, and curiosity in equal measure.
Erin Hughes is a mid-Wales–based artist working with hand-marbled paper to create collages and installations that explore illusion, craft, and landscape.
