“A Wednesday song is a quilt,” says the band, “a patchwork of portraits of the American south.” The Asheville, North Carolina five-piece, helmed by songwriter Karly Hartzman, formed in 2017 and released their fifth album, Rat Saw God, last year. They bring their nineties shoegaze-inflected country twang to the Green Man mountains for the first time.
