Weather the Weather Installation

Weather the Weather Installation

What would the weather have been like in the Brecon Beacons in 1816? What might it be like in 2080? Explore Einstein’s Garden’s science and art collaboration to experience these conditions as they are recreated in an immersive installation.

This Green Man Trust project is being brought together by George Adamson and Inés Cámara Leret, who are orchestrating a team of scientists, engineers, architects and researchers.

About the Artist and Researcher

Inés Cámara Leret is a multidisciplinary artist exploring life through that which is portrayed as static, inert, or ephemeral. She is inspired by natural phenomena and the transformative nature of materials. In the past she has recorded breaths on a limestone's memory, grown perfectly ordered crystals from saliva and captured rainfall using asphalt.

George Adamson is a lecturer in geography at King’s College London. His research examines climate and climate change through the lens of history and culture. He explores how science, memory and personal experience interact to make climate knowledge, and how this is used to address the challenges of climate change
