Songwriter Hollie Fullbrook moved from the UK to New Zealand as a child, and has retained a sense of travel in her music, her band achieving success with 2011 debut LP Some Were Meant For Sea. Tiny Ruins craft minimalist dream-pop out of eloquent lyrics and experimental psychedelic folk. No wonder they’ve collaborated with David Lynch: their intense imagery adds a macabre element to their bookish, introspective folk. With a third album imminent, we’re tremendously excited for them to land on the shores of Green Man.
