Released in 2018, its galvanising percussion and rustling guitar arrive like fresh air after a storm. Thompson co-founded legendary British folk band Fairport Convention in 1967. Since then he’s won a Novello, been nominated for a Grammy, and been covered by artists like Sleater-Kinney, REM, and David Byrne. The storm won’t come, Thompson sings on 13 Rivers.
