This one’s for the bungled and the botched.’ So say Nap Eyes of themselves (nice Lambchop reference, by the way), and their progression over four albums testifies to evolution at a considered pace: the fine-tuning of a sound you can’t quite tear your ears away from. The Canadian band apply introspection with a scientist’s rigour, which is apt considering lead singer Nigel Chapman is a trained biochemist. Their new album Snapshot of a Beginner arrives this March.
