Self-described as ‘a weirdo rock and roll band’, for Moon Duo music is a conversation between artist and creator, performer and audience. Well, we’re more than ready to have that conversation. Taking huge inspiration from Silver Apples and Suicide – check out their cover of Alan Vega’s Jukebox Babe – the San Francisco pair have been making psych electronica since 2009, releasing seventh record, Stars Are The Light, in 2019. Their live shows harness the power of repetition and physical response: wind chimes meet machine-style guitar to create a kind of obscure disco that’s always evolving, never static.
