“Creating music is an act of hope” for songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Lutalo Jones. They hail from Minnesota but are now based in Vermont, and their songs — part-poetry, part-political diatribe about climate change and corporate greed, wrapped in tumbling acoustic guitar, warped electronics, and a punk edge — have attracted the attentions of Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker and Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold.
