Scottish indie luminary Kenny Anderson, aka King Creosote, released his fiftieth album last year — a mind-boggling statistic that sums up his prolific, curious-minded career. He took up the accordion at seven years old, was part of Fife’s Fence Records collective — alongside Pictish Trail, James Yorkston, and KT Tunstall — and was nominated for the Mercury in 2011 for his collaboration with Jon Hopkins. We’re honoured to welcome him to the mountains this August.
