“We are the places we grew up, the places we’ve been, and the people we’ve met along the way,” says Eno Williams of Ibibio Sound Machine. The Nigerian musician formed the band in London in 2010 with Australian musician and producer Max Grunhard. Their fifth album, Pull The Rope, arrives in May, following 2022’s Electricity. Politically conscious in the most joyous and hopeful of ways, their music belongs firmly on the dancefloor — what a treat to welcome them to Green Man this year.
