Harriet Jaxxon once hid in a broom cupboard to sneak into a club. Luckily the days of underage manoeuvres and fake IDs are far behind her: she’s spent a decade steadily ascending as a world-class drum & bass DJ, from weekly residences and international tours as a resident DJ for Ministry of Sound to long-running shows on Rinse FM. There weren’t many women behind the decks when she was a child pilfering DJ Ron and Roni Size records from her jungle-loving dad’s record collection in Lewisham — now she can lay claim to paving today’s landscape of female DJs, and her Green Man set is sure to be unmissable.
