But Hastings alt-rock trio Borough Council have already built a reputation for live punch in their hometown — even with just a couple of singles under their belt. Their second “anti-single” Casino — all stark melody and mesmeric rhythm — was produced by Dan Carey and released on Speedy Wunderground’s single series, following in the footsteps of Lounge Society, black midi, and Kae Tempest.
