Anyone who has been going to gigs in Bristol over the past 10 to 15 year's, you will more then likely to have come across the man known as Big Jeff. He is someone easily stands out in an audience, usually being right down the front just slightly out of the middle. Whether its trying to hide in the left front corner at the Louisiana or being down by the railings at some of Bristol's bigger venues. There is a certain level of notoriety that go with characters like Jeff, whether it be articles in Vice Noisey, the collection of festival bands moulded to his wrist, an eccentric and eclectic music taste, making friends with artists and musicians from all around the place, from Flying Lotus too Foals, Ghostpoet too Saul Williams. Its only in the past couple of years that Jeff has taken to the decks when looking at his vastly varied and fast growing record collection that he has hauded from shops and artists left right and centre. But in those couple of years he has gone from playing to a few friends to curating a one day line up at the Arnolfini and playing at last years Green Man. To say his tastes are casts and varied is an understatement, from psych pop, post punk, afrobeat, hip hop, to metal, free jazz and the great untrodden. Jeff likes to play the songs that you might not know but he thinks you should get to know.
