<p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 14px;">Hattie has been singing since she can remember, recording her first album at the tender age of 3, with her dad on guitar. </span></p>
<p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 14px;">Some years later, she completed a music degree at <strong>Leeds University</strong>, whilst gigging alongside her studies. After finishing university Hattie worked in various jobs for a while before turning her attention to pursuing her performing career, singing<span class="text_exposed_show" style="display: inline;">&nbsp;her own blend of <strong>folk, jazz, soul, and pop</strong>. Since returning to <strong>London</strong> she has performed with the likes of <strong>Julian Joseph</strong>, the <strong>Tim Whitehead Quartet</strong>, <strong>Richard Lord</strong> (with whom she recorded at <strong>Abbey Road</strong> <strong>Studios</strong>) and more recently <strong>Natalie Duncan</strong>, an up and coming soulful pop singer. Performing as backing vocalist (and more recently Glockenspiel player!) for Natalie, Hattie has had the pleasure of playing at some amazing venues. This has included performing on Radio 4's <strong><em>Loose Ends</em></strong><em>,</em>&nbsp;at <em><strong>Cheltenham Jazz Festival</strong>,</em>&nbsp;and recording at both <strong>Peter Gabriel's 'Real World Studios'</strong>, and <strong>'Universal Studios'</strong> in Kensington.&nbsp;</span></span></p>
