Einstein’s Garden is up to no good. Calling all curious and creative minds. Join us for another year of discovery in Einstein’s Garden as we bring you another jaw dropping line up of art, comedy, workshops, music, performance and much more all themed around (mis)behavior!

Whether you like to disrupt the norm or play by the rules there’s something for everyone in this year’s programme.

What's the most ridiculous thing that makes you angry? Use it to awaken your inner revolutionary as we delve into the world of activism with Caleb Parkin and his Petty Protest. Lie back and enjoy a beautifully curated Radio Cinema from In the Dark all with a (mis)behaviour twist. Or try your hand at circular breathing as Bart Bagnall returns to share his didgeridoo workshops.

Did you know trees and fungus can communicate with each other? Discover how with Ruth Mariner and scientists from the University of Cardiff and Manchester as they bring you Unsung Heroes of the Planet - a mixture opera and walkabout theatre.

Why not join theatre maker Tom Bailey and participate in his show Biosphere IV which invites you to consider what our collective futures might be like under climate change.

Over on the Solar Stage we continue to bring you the most inspiring and playful science shows and music around. Embark on a whimsical musical journey filled with comets, satellites and highly accurate astrophysical re-interpretations of nursery rhymes with the Space Singalong. Watch the mischief unfold as Sci-lence attempt science experiments as you have never seen them… completely silent.

Get up and a boogie as Dr. Dance brings us the Science-Shimmy Dance Party and discover how barn dancing boosts puzzle-solving powers, ballroom hormones influence social identity, and hardcore rave relates to intimate attraction. Then cool down with the mellow sounds of Emily Magpie or the Fantasy Orchestra.

And if all that wasn’t enough our workshop dome will be burst at the seams with crafty opportunities. Construct your very own ‘Bug Hotel’ with our resident farmer Gareth James, or join conductive ink company Novalia and designer Pete Bennett to explore their world of Conductive Creations.

So be on your best (or worst) behaviour and we promise you an exciting weekend this August. See you in the Mountains!
