Travel – Car and Live in Vehicle

Car Share: If you would like to reduce your carbon footprint, help other people travel to the Green Man Festival and save money, why not offer your empty car seats to others on goCarShare? http://gocarshare.com/festival/green-man

Please follow these directions rather than using a satellite navigation system because the Green Man directions have been agreed with the Council and Police and should avoid traffic jams due to the increased number of cars coming to the festival.

By car: The festival site is located near Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons on the A40. All Cars require a Car Park ticket, tickets cost £5 each (more on the door) and we are reinvesting the money into providing free shuttle busses from Abergavenny Station.

Please be aware of ruts and holes which could cause damage to your car, drive slowly and ensure that the bottom of your car is clear of the ground. When leaving the festival, if there is very wet weather you may need to be towed out, there are tractor drivers employed by the Green Man to tow people and you should not pay them yourself. Please be aware that many modern cars have screw in towing eyes which are usually found near the jack, if you think you will need towing please make sure you have located this before packing your vehicle.
