I'll give it a try so. I've just discovered that there's a work-around to access it through the older squeezebox classics streamers that I use at home which is an added bonus.
It certainly won't replace my CD purchases - I like to have a physical backup of my music.

plus it means you can have it on your phone

and for ten quid a month it's pretty hard to beat

I'm now have Spotify ad-free and fully integrated with my Squeezeboxes and Android phone.
