Every day's a school day - what, when, how, why?

I really like 4...and would also like something a bit larger. Don't want to go for something tight as my bulging muskels would drive everyone wild...keep us in touch about the pre-sale.

my wife reckons we should leave off the 'Friends of Green Man Forum' bit - makes it too explanatory and takes away the mystery, she may be right, she often is.

I like 5, 1, & 2 but any are okay (thought the teardrop was a bit hard to read though).

The presale idea sounds a good way of determining interest. If we get nowhere near we can give up, if we can get close to critical mass I'm sure we can cajole a few more into taking the plunge.

If young miss Peridot will wear one, I'll have two as well.

I'm inclined to agree about leaving off the 'Friends of the forum' bit too - it make's the forum sound like some sort of antiquity that needs protecting. That may well be true of some of us members but not the forum itself.

I'm attempting to get the elder Ms Cyfarthfa to wear one. She is neutral at the moment i.e she hasn't called me a 'saddo' yet.

As for 'friends of the forum' Can a forum have friends?

What does Walter think?

if we could have nippers size i might even deck my kids out in them

cyfarthfa - how old are they before they call you saddo? my daughter who's nearly 8 does that 'da-aad' thing when i embarrass here but i've not had a 'saddo' yet.

I want the t-shirt too! I'd prefer the discoball design, but I'm ok with all of them. I would also omit any reference to this forum, as Krasnyi's wife suggests.

Teardrop's the one for me, but i'm pretty easy going... unless some bastard's playing dance music while i'm trying to sleep of course.

Krasnyi, it's even worse. I am known as 'Saddo Daddo' most of the time. It started when the eldest was about 12. It doesn't, however, stop her knicking my Cds, spending my money, stuffing my Macbook with crap, spending hours streaming stuff you can get on TV so I can't download stuff and expecting me to be on standby when ever she's out with her 'crew'.

Hi everyone.

I've set up the pre-sale page.

www.origin68.com/greenmanshirt

I've put them on at £12.50 (postage is an extra £2.50)  does that sound reasonable to everyone? There's also a slightly more official poll to choose the final design.  There are size charts on that page too.

I'll leave this running for the next few days. By Monday/Tuesday I'll probbaly have to get the order off to the printers in order to get them back in time, so don't hang about if you're interested.

Like I said previously if this doesn't get off the ground then I'll issue you all refunds via paypal. No win no fee

Cheers

Matt

Wouldn't this be the greatest scam ever if wildboar turned out to be the person who started the whole disco thread in the first place.

I'd happily pay him the money for playing that kind of long game! Don't think he'll make it to rio though.

Damn...they're on to me!

I'm just thinking, would this be simpler if I choose the final design now? At the moment it's a case of the most popular design is the ONLY design that is being printed.

That would probably make sense wouldn't it? Which one is the most popular? The consensus also seems to be in favour of dropping the reference to the forum I think.

Ok. To remove any element of confusion we have taken an executive decision and chosen one.....de de der....

It was between the teardrop and disco ball. I've been out to the desert and Jim Morrison say's he prefers the teardrop, so that's what we're going with. Apologies if you had your heart set on any of the others.

Following the feedback we're going to do it in a white print which makes it more legible. You can see it on the link above.

I've spoken with my print guru and he needs an order by 2pm tuesday.

Any questions just shout.

I'll be ordering soon. Agree that it's better of without 'Friends of GM Forum' and the white design is very nice. And finally a website with a good sizing guide - thankyou :)

Kransyi - I's put money on the fact that she never harboured any doubts :-)

I'm on a flaky public wi-fi connection at the moment so may struggle to place an order. I have a better connection in the hotel we're staying in tomorrow night so will be sure to do it then.

Got my order in. Are those women's sizes correct? The X-large women's is smaller then the men's small. I've ordered by cross armpit measurements anyway. If Little Miss Peridot is swimming in hers then it will match her waterproofs that I bought a couple of sizes too big to make sure that she gets a couple of years out of them.

It's terrible when you become your father ....

... and it's even worse for your kids :-)

Hi everyone

I'm working at GM this year and just heard about this forum last night - just in time for t-shirts it seems! Looking forward to chatting more here and seeing you in August - for now I'm going to buy 2 medium tshirts for me and my friend Rob... Cheers!

Cheers Wildboar but I think I just managed to do it. Turns out I didn't need my card with me for Paypal... the wonder of an E-Cheque. Thus, all things go.
