yes, brian wilson is insane

yes, bruce johnson is only sort of a beach boy

yes, david marks is even less of one

yes, al jardine's hair has to be seen to be believed

and yes, mike love shows no sign of being any less of an asshole than he's been for the past 40 years

but the new single (!) is about a thousand times better than it has any rational right to be

i imagine the band on the upcoming tour will be stupidly good

probably brian's band (most of the wondermints plus, well, anyone in LA who's insanely good) - who are fantastic

leaving the actual BBs to concentrate on the harmonies

so while the banter will leave a bit to be desired, the music will be fantatsic

which is a long and involved answer to what you probably meant as a joke

You mean VM? Didn't know that.

I wonder if as many people in Belfast claim that he used to be their window cleaner, as there are people in Edinburgh who claim that Sean Connery used to be their milkman.
