Vegetarians

Forums:

Since our last visit to Green Man, my daughter has become vegetarian. Is there a good choice of outlets and has anyone got any favourite dishes they think she should try?

Well I think she should probably try a meat pie :P

There was quite a lot of good stuff last time (although majority was meat-based). Pizzas were good although the queue was massive. I think there was a stir-fry stall. Quite a lot of good fish dishes if she eats fish. A lot of falafel and stuff like that. There was some vegetarian dishes at the mexican stall. There were good crumpets. And if you run out of ideas, there are lots of good bars...

You won't have any problems - there's lots of choice.

The tea van does a mean vege-bacon sandwich in the mornings. The Mexican wackojacko mentioned is a personal favourite and offers good value. There's usually a good Indian Thali available too ... and of course the legendary Pieminister Heidi pie.

I'm getting hungry now :)

I seem to recall having a magnificent halloumi burger from a stall on the way to the faraway tent last year. My daughters a veggie, she thought choice of food was good
