I'm not sure who will receive this and it probably won't make a difference, but please please get Kurt Vile on the bill. Genuinely the album of the year and perfect for Greenman- surely a far out headline on friday number *hint hint*. Has he played before does anyone know?
Well played on Ghostpoet, Slow Club and Alt-J by the way- huge acts:)

More like sound rather like he's condensed the history of American guitar music into one superb album and vision:) Doesn't seem too folky this year does it or is it just me?

I think smithers was referring to Alabama Shakes not Kurt Vile, wasn't he/she?
Although a great line-up it is, dare I say it, a little twee.
Hopefully forthcoming announcements will deliver more noise.
Alabama Shakes would be great.

Yes, Alabama Shakes. and I didn't mean it in a bad way, what I've heard is ok. Kurt Vile similarly ok without getting me wildly excited. Now if Bo Ningen were booked then I would probably feint with excitement. (He)

anyone think bon iver will headline a night? or perhaps spiritualized? Spiritualized have a new album out and would more than fill everyones Psychedelic cups up?

god, i hope not the prog rock hell that is now bon iver
and spiritualized are doing wilderness the weekend before so probably won't do GM as well

the wolves at gman 09 was a moment that will take more than the incarnation bon iver now takes with 4 bass saxophonists two drummers, a horn section, two extra guitarist, a bass player and a massive black man ringing a bell now and then. But after his gig in manchester being ruined by a squeaking door every 10 seconds from people going to the bathroom I would like to see them in an environment befitting the intimate moments and if it means getting through the phil collins prog outs then I would very much like him to bob along to gman12, (Take note I am aware that I keep on not being decided on whether or not to refer to Bon Iver as Him, or they anymore?) Spiritualized would be too much wishful thinking then perhaps...hmmm

in my defense, i'm only so anti the prog ridiculousness that is bon iver now on account of the three piece wonderfulness that was bon iver before
