Hi, is it acceptable to use a photocopy of passport just for entry to greenman, as i don't wish to be buying alcohol and don't want to loose my passport if i may not even need it if its not asked for when i enter? As that will be the only time i will be using it

Not sure what the ID requirements are, but if you do need to bring your passport there's a secure lockup facility that you could leave it in over the weekend.
