Smerins Anti Social Club

Since 2002 Smerins Anti-Social Club have established themselves as one of the hottest underground acts Britain has to offer. While they’ve recently made ripples on the radio with a release on Tru Thoughts (the band’s dub rendition of the Doctor Who theme) and a track specially commissioned by 6 Music, it’s their enviable reputation as a live act that has long been winning this 8-piece band appearances at the country’s top festivals.
Renowned for their explosive live shows, Smerins Anti-Social Club have long been firing up festival crowds and gig-goers throughout the UK. The 10 piece lineup use the raw ingredients of ska, funk, dub, drum'n'bass and swing to full effect in their epic, brass-heavy instrumentals. Regular guest vocalists - including sassy Aussie songstress Nuala Honan - are bringing new dimensions to the band, but their sound still ripples with the unmistakeable energy, colour and humour that has always defined their unmissable performances.
